Our work is focused on life-long learning in the fields of political, social and cultural education. The themes of our seminars and workshops include: participation in the new community learning democracy learning about Europe learning about social structures and laws learning about different milieus in our society training courses for voluntary work in the community finding one’s own identity analysis of one’s own biography challenges in the work situation self-confidence building aesthetic workshop

Our work has also contributed greatly to reconciliation and good relations with other countries, particularly with Poland, and exchanges between our house and Poland are regular events. Each year about 3000 participants take part in about 130 seminars, which, on average, last two to five days. St. Hedwigs-Haus is more than just an education centre. Here we learn, work, live and relax together in an informal atmosphere.
